the only time I pissed her off

it was during her room-warming. we had a theory that she had so many iPods she wouldn’t miss one of them… so I was supposed to hide one and give it back when she noticed. i forgot … and took it home.
and when she called me … she was furious… and I was more afraid of losing her friendship that night than any other time.

i made sure she got it back within 1 hour of her calling me, and it only took that long cos she was sulking… and refused to come down and see me, or even answer my phone calls. I had to call Reuben, get him to call her… I really really thought i’d done the unforgivable.
