Mental Masturbation

It was mentioned in Dr Liew's forum that blogging is mental masturbation, which I don't disagree with. However... debating is an even more orgasmic experience. *grinz*

UiTM Pre-Asians just ended yesterday evening and wheeeeee.... really really enjoyed myself. Like I said during the tournament, "good food, good rounds, good tournament." Absolutely orgasmic.

We sent 2 teams for the IV and both broke into semis!!! Mine didn't get into finals and Sheena's did. Yay!!! Super happy considering it's the first time V, R and I were a team. *big wide grin*

Let's see, on my side...
1. This house believes that ASEAN should have a standing army.
Affirmative: IMU 2
Negative: Swing 1
Result: Motion stands

2. This house believes that bloggers should not be sued. O_O
Affirmative: IMU 1
Negative: IMU 2
Result: Motion stands

3. This house would make national identity cards compulsory.
Affirmative: IMU 2
Negative: UiTM PP
Result: Motion stands

4. This house would abolish National Service.
Affirmative: MMU 2
Negative: IMU 2
Result: This was a silent round (aka results not announced) but since we had 3 wins...The motion falls.

5. Semi-finals: This house would abide by the international roadmap to peace plan.
Affirmative: UiTM 1
Negative: IMU 2
Result: Motion stands

Seriously though, no matter win or lose... I'm happy as long as the round was good, as long as I learnt something and of course, it's even better when the other team is made up of pleasant people. Cocky winners or sore losers shouldn't be allowed to exist on this world, don't you think??? My team had 5 happy rounds where we managed to pick up stuff from others, get to know people and overall... enjoyed ourselves tremendously.

If any of the UiTM debaters read this... Thanks a million, guys.. for organising this IV.

Now... back to studying. *mug* *mug* *mug*
