QYs
Spent most of the weekend talking ... talking ... having conversations that I call quality-yaks (QY), conversations that happen when friends sit together and they are not gossiping or bitching away.
QYs only happen between people who trust each other enough to tell serious stuff, among people who feel that the other can understand what they say and their states of mind. And it's vital that people don't judge each other. I like these kind of yakking, because it is much deeper than superficial "that guy is so cute" types, and matter so much more. That's not to say that blondy-type conversations are not important. I'm sure life will be sucky if we're serious and deep all the time.. but well.. that's besides the point.
I had some very good conversations with friends that, IMO, have drifted apart in the past few months. They were good talks that enabled me to realise many things, that allowed me to look at myself and do some reflections. They have also allowed me to look at things from a different perspective and see things differently.
I don't know if my ultra-frankness and lack of tact have offended anyone of them, but if it has and if anyone of them are reading this, then... I'm sorry.
I don't know if all the yakking has benefited anyone else but it has definitly benefited me... :) Thanks gals.
A lot to think about... life's such a complicated thing...
