It's the season to spend money...

With IMU Ball just around the corner, almost every ball-going friend around me is broke. Like B-R-O-K-E. Let's see... what do you need to get in order to go for the ball.
1. The ticket Like.. DUH!!! Otherwise how do you plan to go for the ball? Well, it cost 90 bucks, and *cough* the ball better be good. (With regards to that, I think just go with a positive attitude, have loads of faith in the organising committee.)
2. The gown This will depend on what you get. Mm.. but I'll say on average, a person spends about RM500? For a gown that you'll most probably only wear once. O-U-C-H.
3. Accessories Most girls have accessories already, but to have a set that goes with your gown and is appropriate for a formal function like the ball? Er... Don't think so. Let's say RM100 for ear rings, necklace/choker and maybe a bracelet?
4. Shoes and Handbag It's well known that most girls love love love to buy shoes so yupz, how can we miss out on an opportunity to get a new pair? So ya, shoes and handbag, conservatively (very conservatively) RM100.
5. Hair and Make Up This is pretty standard lahz, about another RM100.
Minus manicure 'cos not everyone will wanna do it, going to a ball will cost a person about RM900. No wonder most of us are broke... But then again, it's all for a once in a lifetime kinda thing right? *grin*

Hehe... money are ment to be spent. Just calculate yourself, how much will it cost for your marriage :)

The esssence of Ball .... Money spent. Ask yourself what it will imply? Remind yourself where your money comes from. And how important the money is to you. Once spent it is lost and gone.
