You've Got Mail
In the past, everyone stuck a stamp to envelopes and postcards in order to get messages and letters to their friends. These days, people stop sending snail mails. Instead, they send electronic mails, better known as emails. Unlike snail mails, we can have multiple addresses because of multiple accounts. (Well, unless you stay at various places at one point in time, I don't see how you can have multiple snail mail addresses) Most of us have more than one account. Let's see... what do/did I have/had?
- Hotmail (from the ancient times, now strictly for MSN purposes)
- Yahoo (also from the ancient times)
- Rocketmail (used to have this, now, nonexistant already and didn't they merge with Yahoo?)
- Mail.com (used to be iname, I had an @cheerful.com account, should have been deleted already lah, been inactive for years)
- Graffiti.net (No one has been given this email address, so er...)
- Jaring (uhz, jaring lah. It's not filled with spam. Friends who've been trying to reach me via this account, please send to my streamyx account.)
- Timechute (Kor kor gave me this account. Not many people mail there though. Mainly spam also)
- Streamyx (Active!!!)
- Gmail (Active!!!)
I've got some others as well but cannot even remember them. Heh heh. Yupz, as you can see, I've got numerous account (or had numerous accounts) but only use 2 of them. Talk about wasting resources eh?
Recently, I've started to dread checking emails for fear of what I find in them. Not the spam, mind you, just well, certain emails I get in my account make me judge people. And I don't like judging people this way. They are nice people, I know. I'm trying to look at it from the senders' point of view...Just that, well, demands and suggestions, there's a difference you know? Maybe I should listen to Paul's advice and use an account that'll lose my emails. Hmm...(Excuse my little bit of ranting)
You know what inspired me to write this post? Heehee, Ling told me last night to expect a mail, a SNAIL MAIL from her. Hurray!

nowaday i think IM is more widely use compare to email for short msg and instant chatting. some people even ask for IM instead of email when we 1st met.

my first webmail account is rocketmail and Yahoo! bought it. Now the mailbox is full of spam, I guess.
