Weekends With Friends IIb
11 August 2007Ladies and gentlemen, a round of applause to Irene. :) It is thanks to her sending the SD card to me, that this post even exists.
If you have not realised, this is actually a continuation of my previous post about last weekend. I only met up with my IMU friends and a few (er.. 3) others because there wasn’t really enough time and I was dependent on great people like Irene and Sheena for accommodation and transport. I’m sure you guys understand… Right??? Hor??? :)
Irene gets credit for the photos making an appearance, and Sheena deserves credit for me making that trip in the very first place. It’s a long story… but the gist of it is that we had made plans months ago to debate together in Malaysia over summer hols but I wanted to cancel the trip at the very last minute. I went in the end because if I had not, I won’t see Sheena until goodness knows when. (OK, we know that the debate-together thing didn’t happen, but hey… I did make the 300+km trip, didn’t I? And we did wake up on time. You can’t say we didn’t try…)
I won’t see Sheena for at least a couple of months… that’s why I even dare put up this particular picture. *runs*
We had dinner in Chilli’s@MV and there were some very wonderful people at our table.

There was the chance encounter with Tze Sien, who has a famous friend, who recognised my famous friend… You get what I mean right? :P
“Aiya, don’t take my picture!! hahaha” (the straw is CK’s fault, by the way…)
I also met my good friend’s boyfriend, who is the only other Johorean at dinner that day. Strangely enough, 2 Johoreans who live 20 minutes away from each other in JB meets in KL. :P
Second top student ah… don’t play play… oh ya, trivia of the day, the top 2 students in the batch stay in the same house. The fengshui must be really good for studies, eh?
You know the story of why Sheena and I ended up not going debating. Well, we went over to IMU and guess who we found in SAD?! Charmaine!!!
It is amazing how many of us she can remember… in detail too! :)
And of course, there was that great BBQ+Steamboat dinner that evening with Shama. :) I’m tempted to put up Shama’s photos, but don’t know how he’ll feel about it. *nudge nudge Shama* Can ah?
Before I end off, there is a little video clip that must be shared.
Prem’s sharing a funny incident that happened during their OSCE, specifically at the psych station. Now we know that Sheena isn’t the only one to use the F word during exams. LOL. OSCEs too!
