Strange Daylight

It took me a long while to get used to the sun disappearing before 5pm during winter and it is equally difficult getting used to the much longer daylight. 4.30am and it looks like it’s dawn, and I find myself having dinner at 9pm with the bright daylight. For the girl born and bred in a tropical country, this is really weird, in fact, it feels like an eternal jetlag.

I should be going to bed now (let’s not go into why I’m up at this time in the first place), but it will feel like an afternoon nap, especially with the sun being up.

    Same here… I always had to look at the clock to see whether it is time for me to cook my dinner.

    Wish I wasn’t flying home on the solstice. Would’ve loved to go up to Stonehenge.
