Emperor’s New Clothes II
5 February 2007The second week of general medicine has just started and with that, comes the long Monday and the lunchtime radiology meeting. After last week’s experience, I thought no one would go for the meetings this week, but somehow, everyone did. O_o No, I couldn’t understand why I went either!
This time around, the less intelligent one (ie. me) could see a little more of his majesty’s clothes. And this is largely thanks to Dr X who, in the middle of the first case, said, “Can you point out the structures in the CT, please? So that the students will understand…” That was a great help! And then the final years were on the wards as well, and one of them pointed stuff out to us later on. :) Life’s good when the world is filled with helpful people.
On other news, I was put on the ventilator while at the hospital today.
Well, all of us were. Thanks to Johnny Cash.
Heehee, we were checking out how it felt like to be put on a non-invasive ventilator (NIV)… and the doctor teaching us happened to be called Johnny Cash. ;)

Hahaha, is the cartoon’s reproduction right obtainable or obtained?
Actually a lot of time those tua lokuns just pretend that they could see the Emperor’s clothes, they are also just blur blur only lar, except that they can test you but you cannot test them. :P
