There was this Indian registrar, when he saw Chong Han & I lepak-ing together in O&G, said, “Some of the people I met in medical school are still my best friends now… I don’t know why the non-Asian medical students don’t seem to be as close to each other.”

I’m not going to fathom whether the closeness is a culture thing or a uni thing, but anyhow, YP, I know how incredibly lucky I am to have hung out with you all those years in IMU, and that as much as we irritate each other sometimes, I’m glad we’re still best buddies now. (It’s the new year, I’m entitled to be sentimental. Plus, it’s not like you’re ever going to hear me say this kind of thing to you again soon :P)

Best of luck studying now, mate. I totally get what you mean. *hugs*

P/S - You forgot to mention going out at 3am for mamak with friends who are also up at that unearthly hour studying for the same exam.
