I was told to tell the world…

… that I recently bought 6 new pair of jeans. 3 blue, 1 dark brown, 1 black and 1 white. Zen asked me to take pictures, but I malas lah.

It’s a wonder how we get attracted to the term “sales”. There was an extra-sales day at the shopping complex near my place, where there’s additional discount on top of the original carnival sales discount. And I went crazy.

I went with my aunt in the morning and there weren’t many people. We could take our time, look around, pick out different pieces of clothing and leisurely try them on. No queue for the fitting rooms and no queue at the cashier. If not for the huge words in red, I would have thought there was no sales. (Yeah, call me cheapskate if you like. :P) I managed to pick out 3 pairs then.

We went back and I commented to Ma that I should have gotten another pair and somehow managed to convince her to go back with me after dinner. The place was super crowded then… it’s as if an aunty got to know about the sales and told her aunty friends who told their aunty friends who decided to bring their families. The place is usually empty!!! Like, if you go in and see more than 10 shoppers, you should go buy lottery type of empty… Anyway… after scolding myself for not doing all my shopping in the morning, I could still squeeze through the crowds and ended up buying another 3 pairs. (I was there for 1… but I got a little carried away.. heh.)

Yes, thats the story of how I ended up with 6 new pairs of jeans in one day. Excuse me while I go sit in a corner and feel guilty…

    6 pairs o f jeans? wa.. can last u for whole yr d lo. =P hmm.. don feel guilty thou.. they r gonna b very useful in winter. so don feel bad about it. buy them on sales rather than overseas rite? i bought few pairs here.. quite ex (even thou on sales).. ;’(

    Jac: Heh. Ya, should be able to last me for a year and more. But then.. erm.. I just got one of my old pairs converted to denim skirt, so can buy mah.. right? ;)

    Hey Yeep…I jz heard tat UPS having an offer. U send 10kgs of stuff for as low as RM400plus to UK. Arriving in 3-5days… INterested?

    400 plus for 10kg, not really cheap what. DHL 710++ for their jumbo box wor… that’s up to 25kg, I think. Not sure though.

    what’s there to feel guilty? the only reason you should feel guilty is not bringing me to that duty free zone!!

    hey yeepei, IMHO.u should just buy them here.they’re nicer and can be cheaper if you really scout around. more importantly it saves you the hassle of carrying them halfway across the world. try packing 6 pairs of jeans now.its just nuts
