Preparations
24 April 2006There is so much so much so much to do before I go to Belfast. There’s visa and letter of good conduct to apply for, there’re flight tickets to book and things to ship, there’s accomodation to settle and of course, the shopping preps… etc etc
The only things I have done are to get Linda out of bed early in the morning and drag her along to MSL on Saturday (Thanks babe, much appreciated.), and bug my seniors like mad about Belfast.
MSL is a students’ travel agency that comes to IMU every semester to talk about visa and travel and many students make their travel arrangements with them. They do make things a lot easier, with student ticket prices and additional baggage allocations (which you’ll have to write in for otherwise), ISTC applications and with a small fee, they’ll also help with your visa application!
As for seniors-bugging, CL has been so helpful and patient, replying my emails and answering my multiple questions on MSN. The way I’m constantly bombarding her with questions, I won’t blame her if she puts me on her ignore list! :P I have also started bugging B and she’s having her finals soon.
There’s still plenty to do… eekz!!! I hope to get everything straightened out before I go to Miri for the Jazz Festival in mid-May.

Yay, congrats!!
Me ah.. I haven’t done much lor, only spoke to seniors and went down to MSL. MSL seems like the one stop place for everything if you don’t mind paying a small fee for them to do your visa lah. And it’s really easy to get there (coming from a non-KL person, it must be reeaallyy easy. :P ).
I should be shipping my things in early June lor..
That’s all I know so far. When do you start in Manch?

i think should be in early sept. still haven’t really get their offer letter. It more like I need to send them some info. especially my Hep. B status before they send in another ‘real’ offer letter haha
