Selamat Menyambut Pesta Kuih Bulan
18 September 2005Closed the store as fast as I could, hopped in to a cab and raced to Carrefour to buy mooncakes to celebrate with mami, monkey and kakak. I decided to get the S.H.E. box of 3 because for some weird reson, my lil sis, the monkey, likes them.
Walked home and woke mami up. Yes, I know I’m evil. ;D
Dragged her down to have mooncakes.
I’m banana through and through but I’ll all in for any kind of traditional celebrations that brings the family together. There’s nothing like the warm familiar banter and harmless insults being thrown about.
This year, the bro cow couldn’t make it home due to exams. So he’s stuck in the historical state. Poor MooMoo. I called him just to let him know we were nicely having mooncakes without him and how mami loves me more than him. Eh heh… I very nice wan. :P
I saved a box with a piece of each for him.
The monkey went silly over the S.H.E. mooncakes…
Oh, and here’s the little piggy Ms.YP bought me. Cute leh?
Filling: Lotus paste.
Selina. Filing: Lotus paste with 1 yolk.
Hebe. Filing: Green tea.
Ella. Filing: Black sesame with 1 yolk.
Ahh… right before we cut them in to 8 tiny little bized sized pieces per cake…
