Letting Go

13 September 2005

With IMU Cup taking up much of our time, NHSD a week away, CNS threatening to kill the near-200 of us and the countdown on my sidebar counting down, I know I have to let go of something, or risk suffocating. Since IMU Cup and studies cannot be given up, it looks as if NHSD is the one to go.

NHSD starts this coming Monday and we haven’t even done much matter loading. Moreover, I’ll be heading back to JB this weekend, which means I won’t be attending any last minute trainings either. Should I just go for it and enjoy my last inter-varsity debate, represent IMU for one last time? Or should I forget about it and learn to let go? If I opt out now, is it a responsible thing to do? If I don’t, is it fair to join without any preparations? But… If NHSD is just any other IV, then why not just go for it? This sure isn’t an easy decision to make. I’m confusing myself with my own questions.

Update: Couldn’t let go in the end, going for it…

    me?
hopefully… somewhat in a position like you; though not exactly… have a somewhat ’stilted’ thesis, a lecture that i definitely cannot miss, and a group presentation on 20th (not sure if i can be absent)…
hope to be there though :)
